Laupäeval, 27. jaanuaril tantsime koos nii tundides kui õhtul peol. Kõigile kaugemalt saabuvatele külalistele: tere tulemast kultuuripealinna! 

TUNNID

Tantsutundide teemaks on balboa ning tunde annavad võrratud Eliisa ja Janek Õunamägi. 

Tunnid toimuvad meie saalis Kastani 48:

  • Kell 11-12.30 algajad (ei ole balboad proovinud; või hoopis tahad teist rolli harjutada)
  • Kell 14-15.30 jätkajad (põhirütm on selge, oled harjutanud mõningaid elemente, oled ehk ka kuulnud up-hold ja down-hold mõistetest)

Registreerudes vali, millist rolli tunnis tantsid. Proovime leida tasakaalu juhtide ja järgijate vahel. 

Tundide maksumus:

  • Ühe tunni hind on 15 €
  • Kahe tunni hind on kokku 25 € ühele osalejale
  • Kui osaled nii ühes tunnis kui õhtusel peol, on hind 30 €
  • Kui osaled kahes tunnis ja õhtusel peol, on hind 40 €

ÕHTUNE PIDU

Sünnipäevapidu toimub Tartu Üliõpilasmajas (Kalevi 24). Algus kell 20, lõpp kell 01. 

Plaanis palju tantsu, üks üllatusbänd, tort ja kohv. Avatud on baar (maksata saab sularahas). Kindlasti kaasa ja jalga vahetusjalatsid.

Dance Club Tartu Swing turns nine years old this year!

On Saturday 27th January we’ll dance together in classes and at a party in the evening. To all those visitors travelling from afar – welcome to the European Capital of Culture 2024 (a.k.a. Tartu). 

Classes

The dance classes will be balboa and will be taught by the wonderful Eliisa and Janek Õunamägi from Tallinn Swing Dance Society.

The classes will take place in our club’s hall at Kastani 48:

  • 11-12.30 beginners (you haven’t tried balboa, or you have but you’d like to try the other role)
  • 14-15.30 beginner-intermediate (basic rhythm is there, you’ve practiced some figures, you’ve even heard of up-hold and down-hold).

When registering, choose which role you’ll dance in a class. We’ll try to find a balance between leads and follows.

The price of classes:

  • One class 15 €
  • Two classes 25 € for one participant
  • If you participate in one class and attend the party in the evening, then the price is 30 €
  • If you participate in two classes and the party in the evening, then the price is 40 €

PARTY

Our Club’s birthday party will take place at the Tartu Student’s Club (Kalevi 24). The party begins at 8pm, ends at 1am. 

Planned are: a lot of dancing, one surprise band, cake, and coffee. There’ll be a bar (payment in cash only). Definitely bring along a change of shoes.
